Tinta

Lately I´m trying with a “simpler” style (simple by the visual appearance, not by the difficulty involved). I was going to say more “comic” but in fact, there are all types of comics (a few authors with really complicated styles come to my head right now) so…

What I mean is that I am trying to apply (and to maintain) the ink in my drawings since normally my drawings are not inked per se, perhaps due to my form to work the watercolor, when I passed to the computer I continued maintaining that “odd habit” of not leaving a black edge.

Now I want to recover that “comic style” of what I have very few samples in my gallery, mainly of old drawings. So here I leave a pair of inked drawings ready to be painted. The boy is a sketch that I did at the time I was reading “Memory, Sorrow and Thorn” from Tadd Williams, great series (and great author) for whom hasn´t read it. I found it misplaced and I´ve redrawn it completely and inked. As far as the other….well I had to draw something for the inking, ehem.

As always, comments are admitted. Critics and insults only two by person please, do not crowd to me
